AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE OF METAGGITSI HALKIDIKIS
The Agricultural Cooperative of Metaggitsi is one of the oldest Cooperatives in Greece (established 1924). The main purpose of its activity is the production of high quality olive oil (galano metaggitsiou halkidikis).
The high quality of the olive oil owes itself to the biological culture as well as to the ideal climate of the area, which enjoys a long period of sunshine as well as rich soil (microclimate).
The members of Cooperative included themselves in the program of Biological Culture.The producers cultivate their products according to the indications of agronomists,so the products when it goes to the consumer not have remains of pesticides. The product that results has been certified by the bioHellas and Qways.
